Reports have surfaced that Spider-Man “Forms a relationship with one character.” Many believe this to be Tony Stark, based on the comics.  With this incarnation of Spider-Man being a younger version who hasn’t found his way, some believe with the loss of Uncle Ben, Peter will find a father figure in Stark.

According to Anthony Russo, Spider-Man doesn’t make his presence felt in the film until after lines have been drawn.  And that the film will have a “very dramatic ending that will be controversial for a lot of people.”

That’s a good question! I would think so, but you never really know these days, with how they skew story lines from the comic book versions.

Cause if it’s platonic I would think either Iron Man or Cap, but if romantic than maybe Scarlet Witch? I mean I don’t think those two have a history in the comics to my knowledge but Black Widow is with Hulk and Wasp is with Ant-man. Then again Hulk did leave in Age of Ultron and fans complained about that relationship.

I actually read a really good theory that it could be Ant-Man. Based on the fact that they are both more or less newcomers to the team.
