With ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ slowly but surely creeping its way towards us, a teaser trailer is imminent. Many fans have suggested theories as to the parentage of Rey or the true purpose of Snoke and who he actually is. ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ director J.J. Abrams has recently stated:

“I think we are all going to be very upset,” said Abrams, “if he does not win an Oscar, and no one more upset than Mark.”

After reading the comments, Mark Hamill tweeted a response to Abrams via Twitter:

New rumors have suggested Luke Skywalker spent many years in seclusion, being trained by the force ghosts of Yoda, Obi Wan and even none other than his Father, Anakin Skywalker.

Reports have suggested that the story in Episode VIII will return to important locations in the Star Wars franchise. With the likes of Tatooine, Mustafar and Endor making appearances. Reports have gone on to suggest that Luke has spent time questioning everything he thought he knew between ‘Return of The Jedi,’ till the moment Rey finds him at the end of ‘Force Awakens.’

‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi,’ is set to hit theaters December 15, 2017
