BAD BOYS FOR LIFE: MICHAEL BAY BELIEVES THE CLOCK IS TICKING FOR ‘BAD BOYS 3’

by

It sounds like its time for ‘Bad Boys 3’ to get the ball rolling. Director Michael Bay, who will soon be releasing his final Transformers film as a director, wants the powers that be over at Columbia Pictures to get the ball rolling on the third installment of Bad Boys.

‘Bad Boys’ features Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as two Miami Narcotics detectives, who find themselves in some of the wildest action packed comedic situations. ‘Bad Boys 1’ earned nearly $141.4 million against a $19 million dollar budget, spawning a sequel with a much larger $130 million budget while earning $230 million globally.

Michael Bay, in a recent interview with Cinema Blend, had this to say about the anticipated film:

“Pretty soon they’re going to be old boys, okay? Pretty soon they’re going to be retired cops instead of active-duty cops. It’s taken a long time to get that thing going, and I’m not involved in getting it going. They should get it going soon, though. You could definitely get Martin and Will to be funny again — those were fun movies to do.”
