As the internet catches its collective breath, after hearing official news that ‘Zack Snyder’s: Justice League’ is coming to HBO Max in 2021. Fans can now start to anticipate tidbits as to what we can expect from this new interpretation of Justice League.

Snyder, has started assuring fans, that his film isn’t just a standard “Directors cut,” but will in fact be an almost entirely different movie. Warner Bros. and HBO Max are shelling out an estimated $20-30 mill that will help extend cast member contracts and insure we see an entirely different version. Snyder recently spoke to Hollywood Reporter and shed some light on the project:

“You probably saw one-fourth of what I did,”

Snyder, went on to further separate his vision from what Joss Whedon brought to the screen:

“It will be an entirely new thing, and, especially talking to those who have seen the released movie, a new experience apart from that movie,”

Snyder recently took to social media, to drop a new official image of Uxas aka Darkseid.

Justice Prevails: The Voice of The Fans Bring “Release The Snyder Cut”

Published

Yesterday, the internet exploded with news that #ReleaseTheSnyderCut was no longer a myth or an urban legend, but in fact happening. Zack Snyder confirmed during a ‘Justice League’ Vero watch party that HBO Max would be releasing a fully Zack Snyder produced version of 2017’s ‘Justice League.’

Snyder, who was the original director of the JL film, was forced to leave the project abruptly, due to a family tragedy. Warner Bros. execs immediately turned to top Marvel producer Joss Whedon to finish the project. Fans were divided on the outcome of ‘Justice League.’  With a 40% Rotten score and 71% audience score, JL managed to earn $657.9mil at the box-office, which by today’s standards is a poor showing.

Early reports suggest, Warner Bros. and HBO Max will be shelling out an additional $20-30mil for Snyder to complete HIS vision for JL and bring it to HBO streaming in 2021. Other reports suggest, ‘Zack Snyder’s: Justice League’ will have a four plus hour runtime. To many, this suggests, the movie will be broken up in to a four part series. Snyder has reached out to cast members, asking some of them to return for re-shoots and voice overs. Ray fisher (Victor Stone/Cyborg) was the first to receive a call from Snyder.

“He was like, ‘You’re kidding me, right?'”

Snyder went on to talk about his film and what fans can expect from his version of Justice League:

“It will be an entirely new thing, and, especially talking to those who have seen the released movie, a new experience apart from that movie,” he said.

“You probably saw one-fourth of what I did.”

Some of the JL cast have reacted online to the news of Snyder’s vision returning to the screen. Take a look below at the reactions.

Director Matt Reeves Drops Our Fist Look At The New Batmobile

“It’s going to allow his character to have an arc so that he can go through a transformation”

In the modern era of cinema, the internet is no stranger to leaks and set photos. Most Directors are faced with the difficult challenge of deciding when and when not to release official photos. Recently, an onslaught of set photos have hit the web, showing the newly re-designed batman look, along with a glimpse of the “Batcycle” and possibly a look at catwoman.

Today, Matt Reeves decided to break the internet, giving us our first look at the new batmobile. Reeves describes ‘The Batman’ as a noir style film, told squarely on the shoulders of the dark knight. It would appear that Reeves is going with a truly grounded approach to the character. A “Year two” Batman, taking on Gotham’s criminal underworld, with a rogues gallery of villains.

“It’s very much a point of view-driven, noir Batman tale,” he said. “It’s told very squarely on his shoulders, and I hope it’s going to be a story that will be thrilling but also emotional. It’s more Batman in his detective mode than we’ve seen in the films. The comics have a history of that. He’s supposed to be the world’s greatest detective, and that’s not necessarily been a part of what the movies have been. I’d love this to be one where when we go on that journey of tracking down the criminals and trying to solve a crime, it’s going to allow his character to have an arc so that he can go through a transformation.”

‘The Batman’ hits theaters June 25, 2021 | Stars: Robert Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz, Colin Farrell, Andy Serkis, Paul Dano, Peter Sarsgaard, Jeffrey Wright
