“There’s a fine line in a pitch meeting, between genius, and what I experienced in the meeting.” -Will Smith

Over the last three decades Willard Carroll Smith, Jr. AKA Will Smith, has become a house hold name. Smith rose to fame starring in the 90’s TV sitcom ‘The Fresh Price of Bel-Air.’ Smith recently shared a video to his YouTube channel, clarifying in further detail exactly why he passed on 1999’s hit film, ‘The Matrix.’

Smith describes his pitch meeting with the Wachowskis before he later realized they were geniuses. He chose instead to make the film, ‘Wild Wild West,’ which he admits he’s not very proud of.

What do you think, would ‘The Matrix’ have been a better film with Smith and Kilmer?
