Tenet | China Exclusive Trailer Tells Us About Inversion | Official Trailer -HD

Published

on

The latest trailer from Christopher Nolan’s ‘Tenet’ is brief, but gives us a little better understanding of his concept of “Inversion.” In the teaser, we see John David Washington being told, “When you exit the airlock, things will feel strange. You are inverted, the world is not”

The latest concept implies that Washington’s character will be traveling one direction through time, while the others will be moving in the opposite. Yet, the trailer also claims that this isn’t “Time travel.” And that both of these concepts are different. Nolan has been pretty secretive about his ‘Tenet’ project. Until recently, we’ve had no idea what we can expect from his latest blockbuster. Still, there’s quite a bit of mystery involved.

Nolan has been pushing to have his film release in theaters. He believes, that’s the way it should be seen. unfortunately, the pandemic has pushed release dates further and further into the year. Recent reports suggest Nolan may open ‘Tenet’ to foreign theaters, then eventually return to the US.

Robert Pattinson describes ‘Tenet’ and its theoretical physics as almost an “Impossible movie,” that only Christopher Nolan could pull off.

“There’s a point where you’re like, it’s kind of cool, and it becomes so insane that it’s almost frightening,” he laughs. “I sound like such a moron talking about this stuff. Because on top of the, uh – how would I even say this? Quite advanced theoretical physics; I think I’m allowed to say that – it’s just got a billion different ways to read it.” He gasps, breathless. “It’s so complicated; if it wasn’t Chris Nolan doing it, you’d be like, ‘This is an impossible movie.”

‘Tenet’ is set for tentative release September 3, 2020. Starring: John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Michael Caine, andKenneth Branagh.
